This project conducted a targeted community engagement and evaluation initiative focused on gathering and sharing the stories of local residents regarding the recent transformations in Rex Park and the Lyne Burn corridor green and blue space. Building on baseline work undertaken in 2016 this project aims to build a greater understanding of the longer-term impacts of blue and green space improvements within communities. This project employed creative participatory methods to capture the perceived impacts, benefits, and ongoing connections that the community has developed with the revitalised blue and green spaces. By amplifying the voices of the community, this project provides a valuable and timely evaluation of the transformative work undertaken at the Lyne Burn, contributing to a deeper understanding of place-making and community wellbeing outcomes within the FORTH2O region.
